VIC:Vic man remanded over wife's murder

MELBOURNE, Jan 16 AAP - A Melbourne man has faced court charged with the murder of
his wife, whose body was found buried under the couple's backyard deck.

Dressed in a white and grey stripped shirt, Nasir Ahmadi, 46, cast his eyes to the
floor for most of his brief appearance at the Melbourne Magistrates Court on Monday.

Magistrate Peter Reardon remanded him in custody to appear in the same court on May
21 for a committal mention.

During an out-of-sessions court hearing last Friday, Ahmadi said he loved his wife,
