Vic: Teen footballer dies after collapsing during game
MELBOURNE, April 28 AAP - A teenager playing in an Australian rules football under-14sgame in Melbourne's north-west collapsed and later died this afternoon.
The player died in hospital after collapsing about 1.30pm (AEST) during the game atMaribyrnong Park, a police spokesman said.
"He was alone at the time, just running back to the goal square," the spokesman said.
"It wasn't as if he was hit or anything like that."
